1) A prayer of thanks in honor of the seventieth birthday of King William I, of Prussia (1797-1888). The prayer is also for the king's wife, Augusta, his widowed mother, Elizabeth Louise, and the government of Prussia in general. The author identifies himself as Elhanan Rosenstein (p. 5). On p. 12 he writes that the king set that day as a day of prayer for the king and his government. 2) Three pages of extracts from the catalogue of the Bibliothek der jüd. Gemeinde Berlin, copied by Louis Lewin. There is also a postcard dated Aug. 12, 1926 to Lewin, then in Breslau, from Dr. Tesseu of the Bibliothek der jüd. Gemeinde Berlin, apparently about the material in the extracts. 3) Letter by Rabbi Tsvi Hirsch of Berlin (1721-1800) in defense of the publication of the book by his son, R. Saul Hirsch of Berlin (1740-1794), Beśamim rosh, which first appeared in 1793. 4) An appeal for support of the Ḥevrat Matnot evyonim of Berlin.
